GEOGRAPHY & HISTORY
Sao Tome and Principe is an island located in central Africa in the Gulf of Guinea. It consists of two archipelagos of the two islands, Sao Tome and Principe. The country was colonized by the Portuguese in the 16century. On 12th July 1975, Sao Tome and Principe gained independence and is considered among the most peaceful and democratic countries in Africa.
