AFTER MY POSITION PAPER WHAT NEXT?
Over the past years I have had experience of some delegates asking about what happens after I read my position paper and others even complaining about not being able to read their position papers as such will boycott all motions to move into moderated or unmoderated caucus or continue debates until their called upon to read their position paper.
Dear Delegate bear in mind that MUN conference are not all about position paper presentations. Hence if you do not have a chance to read your position paper, remember you can still contribute your country’s stance during debates, moderated caucus as well as during drafting resolutions.
Your position paper gives you a clear idea of your country’s position on the topic to enable you make sound arguments and contributions in line with your country’s position.
